WIC of Grayson County had a problem. New mothers who desperately needed their resources were dropping out of the program. A study was conducted and it was found that due to education and language barriers, video was the best way to communicate with mothers in the program.
WIC decided to plug in a series of videos on different topics into their CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platform. As mother’s went through the program, their pregnancies progressed to birth, then nursing, then weaning, and so on, they would deliver videos by text.
Our team designed the graphics within the brand standards and animated motion graphics. I wrote, directed, and filmed this series. After everything was said and done we delivered 72 videos in multiple formats including, English and Spanish, burned-in subtitles, and square aspect ratios for social media. The final package contained SRT subtitles from transcript files for each video making them accessible to a diverse audience.
Once the videos were in the CRM, WIC engaged and retained mothers making progress on their mission to improve mother's health in Texas.
